Talented and Hard working rapper Eno Barony has revealed reasons behind the relatively fewer numbers of female rappers in Ghana. She blamed the Ghanaian parenting style and investors for this growing unfortunate incident.
According to the award-winning rapper, most Ghanaian parents do not allow their girls to pursue rap music as a career because they find the art not lucrative and attractive. She stated that most parents would rather prefer their girls take up other professions such as Medicine and Law among others.
Eno Barony also added that, investors are mostly unwilling to invest in females who wish to do rap music, which according to her has contributed to the virtual absence of female rappers in Ghana.
