Every Ghanaian Youth want to be a musician – Shasha Marley


Ghanaian international reggae musician Shasha Marley has advised up and coming musicians.

According to the ‘Maata family’ hit maker, it saddens him that every Ghanaian youth want to be a musician.

Also, he indicated that, being a musician is a divine gift and therefore, it is not an obligation to do music.

The gospel musician adviced the youth to seek formal education and acquire knowledge in order to know the other side of music known as ‘Showbiz’ so that they will be able to sustain the business apect of music.

Shasha Marley:

“One thing I realize is that every youth want to be a musician and is very sad. Musicianship is a called, we don’t force to do it. They must go to school to acquire knowledge, you have to know the other side of the music that’s Showbiz.
So if you don’t go to school, how can you hold up to the business aspect of it.”
