Am not a Fan of Cynicism Due To My Humanist- Inspirational Gospel Artist


Veteran Ghanaian Gospel musician and icon, Reverend Sarpong McAbraham has made it popular that he once believes in philosophy of humanism.

McAbraham as well-known in showbiz was known for his good music that change many people to come to Christ. His songs was favorite of people and people like him due to the Gospel it was portraying and giving advice to them from leaving their ungodly world and come to Jesus.

In an exclusive interview with Tofiakwa on the Sompa Tv/ Fm program dubbed “Na minim”, The legend stated that: “I was once a humanist, I didn’t believe in anything by grace from God, I trusted in my intuitions, I did everything on my own, even though I trusted in God, I was on my own, he said.

“I no longer have patience for certain things, not because I’ve become arrogant, but simply because I reached a point in my life where I do not want to waste more time, with what degrades or hurts me.

However, I have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism and demands of any nature. I lost the will to please those who do not like me, to love those who do not love me. I no longer spend a single minute on those who lie or want to manipulate.

He added that he decided not to coexist anymore with pretence, hypocrisy, dishonesty and cheap praise. I do not adjust either to popular gossiping. I hate conflict and comparisons. In friendship, I dislike the lack of loyalty and betrayal.

The Legyandary has over 18 albums to his credit with hit songs like Akyiwade, Ebeye yie, Chacha, Wohia Yesu, Add Skye, Nhira nie among many others.
