Ghanaian Rapper, Tinny has stated emphatically clear that Hiplife needs Hammer The Last Two back in the studio to resurrect.
Prolific sound engineer Edward Nana Poku Osei, famously known as Hammer of The Last Two is a record producer in the Ghanaian music industry.
“Hiplife is no longer living and now you find it hardly to see people come up and say they want to be Hiplife artistes and I think it has something to do with time – He told Hammer on Pure FM during Hammer Time.
“Even Hiphop has changed in America and I think even when Azonto came it caused some distraction to Hiplife.
Tinny continued that: “Hammer’s unique style of music production gave people the sound that music lovers had never heard. He is no more in music but rather investing in bread baking.
Tinny finally suggested that So if we need Hiplife back we need Hammer back in the studio.”
The renowned producer is the founder and CEO of The Last Two Music Group and is also known for grooming some of the best Ghanaian Hip Hop or Hiplife artists, including Obrafour, Tinny, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Ayigbe Edem, and others.
